• HERHBCU CONFERENCE — EVENT PRODUCTION LEAD

    Ahmere Harper served as the Event Production Lead for the first in-person HerHBCU Conference at Hampton University. In this role, she managed the complete event production process, including pre-production planning, program development, logistics oversight, and day-of execution.

    She coordinated venue booking, developed the run of show, oversaw technical and production requirements, managed event branding, and directed a team of student organizers throughout the planning and execution stages. Ahmere also led speaker outreach, communication, and scheduling for the conference’s lineup, which included Erika Paris, Sharonda Goodman, Nya Étienne, Kenisha Dennis, Tola Lawal, Arial Robinson, Jahylin McKee, D'Shonda Brown, Peyton Orr, Sanna Wells, and Cheyenne Walker.

    The conference received sponsorship support from SheaMoisture. Ahmere managed all sponsor communication, brand placement, and on-site visibility to ensure deliverables were fulfilled.

  • HU HOCO FASHION SHOW — DIRECTOR OF LOGISTICS

    Ahmere Harper served as Co-Director and Director of Logistics for Hampton University’s 2024 Homecoming Fashion Show, leading the operational and production workflow from planning to execution. In this role, she oversaw all logistics, scheduling, casting coordination, and backstage management to ensure a smooth and organized show.

    She managed venue preparation, coordinated fittings and rehearsals, handled technical and staging requirements, and directed a team of student producers, stylists, and models throughout the planning process and on the day of the event.

    The production received sponsorship support from Good Molecules and Impressions of Beauty. Ahmere handled sponsor communication, product placement, and on-site visibility to fulfill deliverables and maintain cohesive brand alignment.

    Her leadership contributed to a polished, high-quality production that showcased student creativity and elevated the fashion programming within Hampton University’s Homecoming experience.
